Made for best friends, by best friends

It all started back in 2015. Crystal and Colleen hadn’t met yet and were both starting businesses and paving their own paths as entrepreneurs. Crystal had created Wanderlush, a cocktail catering company that brought restaurant-style cocktails to the private event scene. Colleen had started a side hustle called Dunlovely, a floral design company.

Then one day, Colleen was looking for someone to collaborate with for an event and came across Wunderlush’s IG profile. So Colleen slid into Crystal’s DMs and unknowingly put into motion the start of a friendship that would grow into the creation of Love Child.

After years of event co-collaboration, late night ideations, and many (many) cocktails, they decided to marry their dreams and invest in a Brick and Mortar space, knowing the rest would come to them.

In the opening month of their creative experiential location, the global pandemic started. It felt impossible to keep up with the changing laws and restrictions in Boston, so they took a step back and thought about what people really needed at that moment. This is where their Blooms and Booze offering was born, starting as a curbside kit, this to-go package uniquely paired the ingredients for a special cocktail with a floral arrangement, and other fun surprises - the perfect pick-me-up to help you find a little celebration in the everyday during an unprecedented time.

They stayed ready everyday to change with the times, knowing the one thing that wouldn't change would be creating a brand that helped people give love, show love, and feel the love in a new and exciting way. Determined to offer a place to creatively celebrate the big and the small moments during a daunting year, they kept pivoting. And now here we are.

No matter how Love Child continues to evolve, one thing will always remain true - their commitment to offering products and experiences that help you celebrate all of life’s big and small moments.
